Bermad Control Valves
We offer Bermad control valves. For over 30 years they have designed and manufactured a line of back-flushing valves and rinse valves, flow and pressure valves for water treatment systems.
The Series 400 is a hydraulically operated automatic valve which combines the simplicity and reliability of a diaphragm valve with the control capabilities of a pilot operated self acting regulator. The Series 400 optimized both flow capacity and control accuracy and stability.
Dynamic guiding of the hydraulically balanced diaphragm/seal produces extremely stable and accurate control, provides excellent range-ability and low flow control and eliminates distortion caused by uneven hydraulic forces
High flow capacity and very low head loss results from the computer designed body and flow path
Positive drip tight sealing is ensured by the 360 degree circular body seat and the resilient sealing surface of the diaphragm/seal
Process and control liquids are separated by the diaphragm/seal
Easy inline maintenance is provided by top entry design. Removing four cover bolts gives instant access for simple inline servicing
Rugged, high quality construction meets applicable ASTM, ANSI and AWWA specifications and ensures long trouble free operation
Standard body and cover material is ASTM A 126 Class B Cast Iron, which is internally and externally fusion bonded coated for protection
Available in angle and globe pattern bodies, in sizes from 3/4” through 12”, and in flanged, grooved and threaded end connections.
Series 700 Automatic Control Valve
The Series 700 is a hydraulically operated, diaphragm actuated globe available in either the oblique (Y) or angle pattern design. The valve is comprised of two major components: the body/seat assembly and the actuator assembly. The actuator assembly is unitized and is removable from the body as a single unit. It contains both a lower and upper control chamber and can be easily converted to either a single or double chamber valve to optimize the required control function. The diaphragm sub-assembly is center guided which eliminates the need for a bottom bearing support and provides a seat area with no obstructions.
Y-pattern wide body computer designed for efficient flow, minimal pressure loss and resistance to cavitation.
Low restriction flow path increases flow capacity by over 25%
Standard actuator design allows easy conversion to single or double control chamber design to provide best control solution for your application
Application flexibility provided by single/double chamber actuator and a comprehensive range of control options including V-port throttling plug.
Self-aligning valve seal disc assembly and resilient deal ensures drip tight sealing
Non-threaded seat assures easy and cost effective servicing
Rugged construction meets applicable ASTM, ANSI and AWWA specifications and ensures long trouble free operation
Standard body and cover material is ASTM A 126 Class B Cast Iron, which is internally and externally fusion bonded coated for protection
Available in Y-pattern and angle pattern bodies, in sizes from 1-1/2” through 20”, and in flanged and threaded end connections, and in pressure classes from ANSI 125 to ANSI 300.
Series 300 Control Valve
The Series 300’s rugged design, material and construction along with their versatility and low cost make them an ideal choice for water treatment systems that require accurate control performance and long trouble free service.
Lower head loss and higher flow than comparable glove valve designs
Unique double or single control chamber actuator assembly for application flexibility
Non-corrosive high strength brass, cast iron and fiber reinforced nylon construction ensures long trouble-free service
Application flexibility – hydraulic or electric on/off; pressure reducing; and pressure relief functions and combinations of these are readily available
Series 350 Control Valve
The Series 350 backwash valve is a compact 3-ported control valve with a unique diaphragm actuated plug assembly that minimizes the mixing of supply and filter wastewater, conserves water supply and prevents filter site flooding and contamination.
Smooth and rapid change of flow direction
Drip tight closing of the supply or backflush port which maximizes filter performance
High flow capacity
Available in 4” x 4” x 3”; 3” x 3” x 2”; and 2” x 2” x 2” sizes in hydraulically or electrically actuated models.
Series 100 High-Performance Plastic Valve
The Series 100, the ultra-high flow and energy efficiency of the Glass-filled (GF) Nylon body material, make it one of the most advanced products for demanding flow control applications.
Performs accurate and smooth regulation due to their smart plug assembly
Easy in-line servicing
Durable, industrial-grade materials
Available in 3″ or 4″. Options; easy-to-use electrical controls and controller array systems, as well as all automatically preset water systems.
