    Job Title: Skilled Welder

    Pay: $25-$35/Hour

    Key Responsibilities:

    The Role

    As a Welder on our fabrication team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on structural and industrial components used in water treatment plants and systems. You will work from fabrication drawings, collaborate with a skilled team of tradespeople, and uphold the quality standards that Komline Pure Water is known for.

    This is a permanent, full-time position with immediate start availability.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Performing MIG, TIG, and / or Stick welding on structural and industrial assemblies
    • Reading and interpreting fabrication and shop drawings to meet project specifications
    • Inspecting your own work to ensure weld quality meets our standards
    • Collaborating with fabricators, fitters, and project leads throughout the build process
    • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
    • Supporting continuous improvement in shop processes and quality control

    What We Are Looking For

    • Journeyman Welder certification or equivalent hands-on experience
    • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and / or Stick welding processes
    • Ability to read fabrication drawings and work to specification
    • Experience in structural or industrial fabrication environments
    • Meticulous attention to weld quality and finished product
    • Reliable, professional, and team-oriented work ethic
    • Red Seal certification or CWB qualification is an asset

    Job Title: Service / Commissioning Technician – Water Treatment Plants

    Pay: $25-40/Hour

    Key Responsibilities:

    Service, maintain and troubleshoot water plants at customer sites mainly Western and Northern Canada, wide range of services including filter/media changeouts, pump/valve service, operating system modifications and additions, repair breakdowns.
    Commission new plants at customer sites, train customer operators.
    Assist in building and testing systems at our plant in Surrey before shipment.
    Travel out of town for service and commissioning – Approx – 33% travel
    Train and support customer staff

    Requirements

    • Experience in servicing complex plumbing systems at customer site
    • Experience with pumps, valves, motors, filtration, VFDs, instrumentation, PLCs,
    • Customer service skills in dealing with system operators and owners, contractors and trades
    • Independent thinking, solution finding skills to get the job done on site, ability to work unsupervised
    • Performs all work assignments safely in accordance with worksafe regulations and legislation
    • Willingness to submit to drug and alcohol testing on clients request (needed for some job site

    Job Title: Skilled Laborer / Industrial Assembler – Pumps and fittings

    Pay: $21-$30/Hour

    Key Responsibilities:

    We are looking for a skilled and motivated Laborer / Assembler to support the assembly of industrial pumps, piping systems, and fittings. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with tools, following instructions, and being part of a team that builds high-quality systems.

    Requirements

    • Operate forklifts and power tools safely and efficiently.
    • Assist in the assembly and manufacturing of water treatment systems.
    • Assemble industrial pumps, piping systems, valves, and fittings
    • Measure, cut, and prepare pipe and materials accurately using saws and hand tools
    • Follow drawings, instructions, and direction from supervisors/Leads
    • Assist in the installation and assembly of systems in shop and on-site
    • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
    • Support general shop and construction activities as required

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, or mechanical assembly environment preferred

    Job Title: Project Manager/Engineer EIT – Water Treatment Systems

    Role Summary:

    We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our water treatment design and fabrication team. The Project Engineer acts as the technical bridge between engineering, project management, procurement, and production for assigned projects. This role is responsible for coordinating engineering deliverables, ensuring technical accuracy and constructability, and supporting the execution of mechanical systems through fabrication, assembly, and commissioning. The Project Engineer works closely with production teams and vendors to ensure designs are complete, buildable, and aligned with project requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Engineering Coordination & Technical Oversight

      · Coordinate engineering deliverables across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls disciplines.

      · Review and check drawings, specifications, and BOMs for completeness, accuracy, and constructability.

      · Ensure design intent is clearly communicated to production and fabrication teams.

      · Manage technical queries (RFIs) and resolve design issues during fabrication and assembly.

      · Track technical scope, design changes, and action items throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Parts & Procurement Coordination

      · Coordinate parts and materials required for fabrication and assembly, working closely with procurement and supply chain.

      · Prepare and review technical specifications for purchased equipment and components.

      · Evaluate vendor submittals, shop drawings, and technical data for compliance with project requirements.

      · Support procurement with technical bid evaluations and vendor clarifications.

    • Production & Fabrication Support

      · Work closely with production, assembly, and QA/QC teams to support fabrication and installation activities.

      · Provide technical clarification and problem-solving on the shop floor.

      · Review and respond to non-conformance reports (NCRs) from a technical perspective.

      · Support factory testing, commissioning, and system troubleshooting as required.

    • Mechanical Systems Focus

      · Apply practical, hands-on understanding of mechanical systems, including:

      · Valves, pumps, piping systems, and fittings

      · Process instrumentation and controls interfaces

      · Skid-mounted and modular equipment assemblies

      · Verify equipment selection, piping layouts, and component interfaces for functionality and maintainability.

      · Ensure systems are designed and assembled in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

    • Project Support

      · Assist the Project Manager with schedule, cost, and risk management from a technical standpoint.

      · Identify technical risks early and propose mitigation strategies.

      · Support preparation of project documentation, including data books, O&M manuals, and as-built drawings.

      · Participate in internal and external technical meetings with clients, suppliers, and inspectors.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline preferred).
    • Registration with EGBC as a P.Eng or EIT.
    • 3–7 years of experience in project-based industrial, manufacturing, or process system environments.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on familiarity with valves, pumps, piping, instrumentation, and controls.
    • Experience reviewing fabrication drawings, P&IDs, and equipment layouts.
    • Comfortable working directly with production and shop-floor teams.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple technical tasks concurrently.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Electrical Design & Engineering

      · Electrical design of water and wastewater treatment systems custom-designed for small communities and industrial applications.

      · Develop electrical designs for both power distribution and control systems, including MCCs, control panels, field devices, and instrumentation.

      · Prepare electrical layouts, including equipment layouts, conduit and cable routing, panel locations, and interface points with mechanical systems.

      · Develop single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, control schematics, and interconnection diagrams based on detailed P&IDs.

      · Support preparation of electrical load lists, cable schedules, I/O lists, and panel schedules.

    • Coordination & Integration

      · Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, process, instrumentation, and controls disciplines to ensure proper integration and constructability.

      · Work closely with production and fabrication teams to support panel fabrication, wiring, and system assembly.

      · Respond to technical queries and provide clarification during fabrication, installation, and testing.

      · Participate as a project team member under the direction of the Electrical Engineering Manager.

      Codes, Standards & Compliance

      · Apply working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and

      standards, including the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), CSA standards, and relevant client or authority requirements.

      · Ensure designs comply with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

      · Support internal design reviews and assist with addressing code-related comments and deficiencies.

    • Equipment Selection & Procurement Support

      · Select and specify electrical equipment, control components, and instrumentation appropriate for the application and environment.

      · Assist with sourcing of electrical and control components and preparing technical specifications.

      · Review vendor submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation for compliance with project requirements.

      · Support cost estimating activities related to electrical and controls scope.

    • Project & Field Support

      · Assist with schedule, cost, and technical risk management from an electrical engineering perspective.

      · Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), commissioning, and system troubleshooting as required.

      · Travel to customer sites may be required to support installation, testing, or commissioning activities.

      · Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    • Registration with EGBC as a P.Eng or EIT.
    • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

    • Registered with EGBC as a P.Eng.

    • 5-10+ years of experience in project-based industrial, manufacturing, or process system environments.

    • Experience with industrial electrical systems and controls integration.

    • Thorough knowledge of design procedures, specifications, and engineering software.

    • Experience developing control schematics based on detailed P&IDs.

    • Comfortable working directly with production and shop-floor teams.

    • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple technical tasks concurrently
